Big Will & the Bluesmen: Hard Times (2011)

A traditional blues band from the Netherlands inspired by great musicians as Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson and John Lee Hooker.
On this album you'll find eleven original compositions from Big Will & the Bluesmen. Among those are four acoustic tracks. All songs are based on the Delta / Chicago tradition with true, authentic bluessounds. Special guests are Peter Struijk, Henk Heijlema and Gerbrand Schoenmaker and they've managed to add something really special to the music.
The band has 5 members:
Big will - plays the blues harp like you’ve never heard before.
Alex - has a very unique voice and plays the slide guitar that will get you inspired.
Jos - knows his power shuffle it lifts the band up to a different level.
Henk - plays the bass like a madman!
Gerb - pianoman Deluxe!
